The China Europe freight train (Changsha) will ship 1012 trains in 2022, ranking third in the country in terms of operating volume
On January 5th, the reporter learned from the Logistics and Port Office of Changsha Municipal People's Government that in 2022, a total of 1012 China Europe freight trains (Changsha) were shipped for import and export, including 547 for export and 465 for import, ranking third in the country in terms of operation volume and maintaining the top position in the country for four consecutive years.
In 2022, the Logistics and Port Office of Changsha Municipal People's Government will strengthen overall coordination and scheduling, and jointly operate the platform Hunan Zhongnan International Land Port Co., Ltd., adopting the strategy of "protecting the market, expanding routes, strengthening services, and optimizing the environment" to achieve relatively stable operation of the China Europe Railway Express (Changsha).
By actively exploring sources of goods and strengthening overseas connections, the China Europe Railway Express (Changsha) continues to expand its railway transportation scope. In 2022, Changsha will launch three new routes, including Changsha Latvia, Changsha Mongolia, and Western Europe return routes, and actively connect with the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) to jointly operate ASEAN trains in Huaihua; Further enhance the service capability of train services, explore overseas markets, promote the transformation of train operation from "point-to-point" to "hub to hub", and further expand Hunan's international trade channels.
At the same time, the China Europe freight train (Changsha) is deeply cultivating the local market in Hunan, connecting with the foreign trade transportation needs of local manufacturing enterprises, guiding local enterprises to transform non-standard products into containers, providing customized international logistics solutions and other optimization measures, increasing the organization of goods sources, launching "customized trains", and effectively ensuring the stability of the international industrial chain and supply chain. In 2022, the China Europe freight train (Changsha) will operate 113 local manufacturing trains in Hunan, transporting over 40% of the province's total value of goods.
In order to further reduce the clearance time of China Europe freight trains and lower logistics costs for enterprises, Xingsha Customs has innovatively implemented a new clearance mode, continuously promoted convenient clearance reform measures such as early declaration, "inspection free", railway fast clearance, and direct loading and delivery, and further improved clearance efficiency. At the same time, the railway department has extended the free storage period for containers in the customs supervision area of Changsha North Station to ensure a better business environment for shipping.
The Changsha "Single Window" China Europe Express (Changsha) online booking system has been launched and is now in operation, supporting direct cooperation between platform enterprises and production enterprises, reducing intermediate links, and providing preferential booking information services for local express customers.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Logistics and Port Office of Changsha Municipal People's Government, the next step will be to actively strive to apply for the construction of the demonstration project of the China Europe Train Assembly Center, deeply integrate into the "the Belt and Road" initiative, actively dock with RCEP, and study the development of ASEAN return trains from Laos, Vietnam to Changsha.
